Atlas Copco to acquire Lewa and Geveke

เกจวัดแก๊สหุงต้ม has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering methods. The firm employs round 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long custom of supporting prospects and growing main industrial move technology for environment friendly, exact and secure handling of fluids,” mentioned Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and technology offering inside positive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and complex process pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 workers and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has robust engineering capability, providing complete industrial pump solutions from idea to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be completed through the second quarter 2022.
The main a part of the acquired businesses will have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller half will be a part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
