Waukesha Bearings celebrates plant’s 50th anniversary

Waukesha Bearings is marking 50 years of producing in Antigo, Wisconsin, USA.

Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of three full-time employees. In 2019, the plant expanded to a hundred,000 sq ft of manufacturing area and now employs 120 folks. The manufacturing house was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing methods and other new projects awarded to the corporate.
“We are happy with our success and development to turn out to be a supplier of precision bearings to some of the largest multi-national companies from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” stated Mark Greenlund, plant manager.
To have fun the 50-year milestone, the company is planning an event at the facility for workers and lengthening its outreach to the neighborhood to educate them on the career opportunities obtainable at the site. “We are in search of people throughout the Antigo group who want to be a half of the next 50 years of success at Waukesha Bearings,” said Greenlund.
The Antigo plant is the most important of four Waukesha Bearings manufacturing websites and is supported by engineers in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Refund has manufacturing services in the UK, China and Mexico.
