Elderly Malaysian couple robbed thrice in 20 days, reside in fear

An aged Malaysian couple was burgled 3 times in the span of nearly three weeks, with perpetrators getting away with valuables price around 26,000 Malaysian ringgit (£4,800). The retired pair, seventy one yr old Chan Liew Chan and her 80 year old husband, Thow Kum Hin, are pleading for police intervention to stop repeat incidents.
Chan Liew Chan spoke about the newest incident, revealing that two masked males kicked open the door to her ground-floor bed room and threatened her with a knife. With one man maintaining her quiet, the other burgled their home, stealing valuables such as private paperwork, ATM playing cards, credit cards, telephones, and laptops. “In the third incident, two males sporting masks kicked open the door of my bed room, which is on the bottom flooring. One of them pointed a knife at me and informed me to be quiet, while the opposite ransacked our home.”
Living in concern, the couple hopes the police will improve patrols in their space.
