The new Parque das Baleias (Whale Park) floating manufacturing, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel which is heading to Brazil shall be outfitted with Sulzer water injection pumps.

Sulzer will supply 4 packaged pump sets, which embody a 9.7 MW motor, the 8-stage HPcp pump and all the auxiliary gear required for the challenging offshore setting.
Treasure to be located 77 km offshore from Espirito Santo, Brazil, the Whale Park FPSO will function in 1,four hundred m deep waters, processing a hundred,000 barrels of oil and 5 million cubic metres of natural gasoline per day. First oil on deck is targeted by 2024.
Sulzer has a long-standing relationship with the engineering procurement and construction (EPC) company involved in the project.
